DotDev will be held at the Automotive Building, located at 105 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON.

If arriving by Toronto public transit, you can take either the 509 Harbourfront or 511 Bathurst streetcar to the Fleet St and Strachan Ave intersection. From there, walk east along Manitoba Dr to Canada Blvd. Head south along Canada Blvd towards the Automotive Building.

Badge pickup will begin at 7:30AM at the venue (Automotive Building) on July 21. You'll need your ticket handy, but don't worry, we'll resend it to you the night before.

Yes, luggage storage will be available at the venue. Please note that storage capacity is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage attendees to bring only essential items when possible.

Main stage content will be recorded and shared after the event. All other content will not be recorded.

No, it's just a tool to help you plan your day. Seats are first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving early for any sessions you're especially interested in.

Programming wraps at 5:00PM. From there, head straight to Block Party, which runs until 10:00PM.

Block Party is an outdoor street party bringing together DotDev and Shopify Summit, our annual company gathering. We're taking over Princes' Blvd., right outside DotDev, on Wednesday, July 22 from 5:00–10:00 PM.

The DotDev experience includes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that attendees can connect to from AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or VS Code. It helps attendees discover sessions, navigate the venue, and discover event info.

Add https://dotdev-mcp.shopify.dev/mcp/ as a streamable HTTP server in any MCP-compatible client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and others), no auth required. Example: In Claude Code, run:

claude mcp add --transport http DotDev https://dotdev-mcp.shopify.dev/mcp/

This adds the server as DotDev in your client. You can use any name you like—just substitute it in the command.

The venue has accessible washrooms and elevator/escalator access throughout. Closed captioning will be available on the Main Stage, with designated seating nearby. If you need additional accommodations, email dotdev@shopify.com and we'll do our best to help.

Special meals will be prepared and available for pickup at a designated location within the food and beverage area. Event staff will be available onsite to assist guests in locating a meal that suits their dietary needs.
